Hi there! Thanks for stopping by! You may have come to here today from Carmen's
blog. If you've come here outside of
the hop and you don't want to miss any of the exciting projects featuring Creations by AR templates you can
start at the beginning by visiting Lisa's blog.
Its a Mother's Day theme – Mom's Favorite color. I had a hard time deciding what template to use to make something for Mom. I defintely had enough time to think about it but there are so many great ones to choose from!
Anyone who knows my Mom knows she loves to cook. She has just about every kitchen gadget you can think of well, except the Crafter's Apron!
I know my Mom likes flowers so I choose the Raspberry Ripple design to
highlight her favorite color. I opted not to use the inserts that come
with this template since this is a kitchen apron rather than a true
crafters apron! I am including some tea bags, my Mom's favorite
shotbread cookies and a gift certificate. Meager thanks for Mom for
being Mom! No, that's not all she's getting! We take her out for brunch
to a local 5 star hotel and plus we have some other goodies for her as
well.
I used the DXF template file so I could cut the pieces on my Silhouette.
I put multiple pieces on a page so that I don't waste paper. To show
off more of the base color I cut the template shorter.
For this project I used the following Stampin' UP! products: Teeny Tiny Wishes. Whisper White Card
Stock, Raspberry Ripple Card Stock, Tangerine Tango Card Stock, Floral District Designer Series paper (double sided), Raspberry Ripple 3/8" Stitched Satin Ribbon, Crystal Effects, Stampin Dimensionals, Multipurpose Liquid Glue, Bone
Folder, Raspberry Ripple Dahlias, Tangerine Tango Ink, Silver Soda Pop Tops, 7/8" Scallop Punch, 1" Circle Punch
I hope you liked this project using the Creations by AR Craft Apron
template. The templates are wonderful and the directions are always very easy to understand!

The tangerine tango cardstock is looking red on my computer. I’m guessing red was your theme and your mom’s favorite color? Great project. The Floral DSP is very pretty and suits this project quite well.
Rhonda Miller says
Wow, this is great. I love those papers.

This is a great project. I never know what to do with bottle caps but that is a great idea it adds texture and just a bit of whimsy. I love what I am guessing are little flower embellishments at the end of the ribbon they are precious. Great job.

Cute as can be! I’d love to win the template. Made something similar without the box- A pocket for seeds or teabag.
