Its a happy day – I've actually posted! If you've popped on over from Denise Foor's Studio PA I'm happy you stopped in! If you've come to my blog outside of the hop you can start from the very beginning by clicking here.
Today's hop is all about holiday home décor. I've chossen a project I showcased in my 12 Weeks of Christmas newsletter.
I call it my Faux Bois Candle set (from French for false wood). This is a home décor piece that is dual purpose. During the holidays it can be used as a glowing centerpiece and after the holiday, you can put your favorite pictures in it!
The poinsettia pieces can be used as accents on other items throughout your house!
STAMPS: Woodgrain stamp; INK: Chocolate Chip Classic Stampin’ Pad; PAPER: Frostwood Lodge Designer Series Paper, Red Glimmer Paper; ACCESSORIES: Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine, Holiday Stocking Bigz L Die, Whisper 5/8 Whisper White Organza Ribbon, Stampin’ Dimensionals, 3/8 Soft Suede Taffeta Ribbon, SNAIL Adhesive, Chocolate Chip Stampin’ Write Marker, Basic Pearls, 1-1/4” Circle Punch, Sticky Strip, Dazzling Details, Mini Glue Dots, Dotto

All of the projects are great, but I especially like the lattice one. I found Lynn’s blog and directions, but I would like to find out how you did the rest of it. Could you share the directions on SUstars, maybe, if you get a chance. Thanks,

I love both of your projects! The candles look wonderful – I never would have thought of wrapping them with that DSP, but it’s perfect!
And that ornament is gorgeous! My friend just borrowed my lattice die… I’m going to have to get it back SOON!
