Spring is almost here! We've had so much rain and dreary weather here it's been terrible. It can become very depressing. I really don't know how those people live in that part of Alaska where its so dark all the time. But the past few days have brought beautiful Spring-like weather here with temperatures reaching to 70°F today!! Yippee!! This makes me just so happy!!!
I've seen some crocuses trying to peek up from the ground, but I fear they might be popping up too soon! Poor little plants! But soon enough it will be warm enough to garden! I love seeing flowers in bloom!
Since my "run in" with the computer I've been going over old files. I know this is the time of the year that couples begin preparing for weddings in June (why is June so popular?!) I found this card among some old pictures. This is probably the second wedding card I've ever made. I wanted it to be special for the bride and groom so I made it a bit different. Take a look. Hopefully you'll think that my style has improved since then. (This card was made in 2003.)
This is the front, with the card folded closed. I used Night of Navy card stock base. There is silver embossing powder on the Whisper White Card stock layer.
I just might have to share with you the first cards I made…we can all laugh together over them! Yes, they are that bad!!
Can anyone tell me the name of the wedding stamp set I used on this card? The first 3 people to email me with the correct answer will have their choice of the following retired un-mounted stamp sets (first come, first choices):
Live Like You Mean It (2008, 2 step stampin'; set of 7)
A Little Bit of Happiness (2008, set of 4)
Happy Occasions (2005, set of 4)
Until next time!

I thought this was a stamp set that I had so I went to check the name (picture clam shell boxes tumbling out at me), only to discover mine was a different ‘older’ wedding set.
I think you had warmer weather yesterday than we had in FL! Enjoy!
