It was a busy last weekend. My apologies but I've been trying to unwind these past few days. There was Halloween and putting the final touches on my outdoor decorations and then answering the door to many trick-or-treaters! Then I had my craft show on Saturday and finally my man was in the NYC marathon on Sunday. Both were a bit stressful. Preparing cards, gift items, ornaments, phew it's over!
Here is a pic of Steve looking like he's actually enjoying his run!
Well he did it! His first marathon, and he did it with a great time! 3 hours 55 minutes and 39 seconds. I am so impressed! He trained well, that's for sure!
I ended up coming up with a plan to follow him on his route. I started in Manhattan taking the subway to Brooklyn for our first stop. I got to see Paula Radcliffe fly by me so fast that I barely got her picture!
Then it was off to the Queensboro bridge to see him run by us there. Final stop was Central Park at mile 25. It was a fun day! I'm so glad that the weather actually cooperated!
Then next post will be about stamping! I promise! I'll be posting some of the neat items I had for sale at the craft fair.
