If you receive my newsletter you know that I made a nice Mother's Day card using the Manhattan flower textured impressions die. Well at the last minute I saw another Manhattan flower card on a fellow demonstrator's site and decided I was going to make that one to give to Mom instead.
This is the original card I was going to give.
Recipe:
Card Stock
Apricot Appeal
Regal Rose
Shimmery White
Ink
Summer Sun
Regal Rose
Accessories
Big Shot
Manhattan Flower Textured Impressions Die
Brayer
Sentiment
Retired stamp set
Here is the second version I decided to give:
Card Stock
Cameo Coral
Vellum
Whisper White
Ink
Cameo Coral
Ruby Rose
Whisper White Craft
Accessories
Big Shot
Manhattan Flower Textured Impressions Die
Sponge Daubers
Clear Embossing Powder
Heat Tool
Paper Snips
Dimensionals
Mini Glue Dots
You can make so many different cards or scrapbook pages with this versatile stamp set and coordinating die folder.
For the accent flower I stamped the image three times in Whisper White Craft onto the Whisper White Card Stock, applied the embossing powder, heated it. I used the sponge dauber with two different colors to accent and highlight areas of the flower. Then I cut different sections of the flower and layered them using dimensionals.
I used the mini glue dots to adhere the vellum to the card base.
