Hello Fellow Stampers!
I bet you’ve been wondering where I’ve been?! Well, my full-time job has been taking up a lot of my time. I am managing a very large typesetting project (a book actually) that will be completed right before Memorial Day! So by the time I get home from work, I’m too tired to stamp. Can you even imagine?!
As a side note, I registered for Convention, which this year will be in Salt Lake City,
Utah, so I will finally get to see the Stampin’ Up! facility! How cool
is that? This year Stampin’ Up! celebrates 20 years! We will be getting the new catalog at convention so even more reason to celebrate. I just got word that SU has decided to change the name of the catalog back to Idea Book & Catalog, rather than the Spring-Summer and Fall-Winter Collection they had recently been calling them.
So, when I went to our TrueBlue Stampers demonstrator meeting my upline, June, had made a beautiful card to swap with each of us. She gave me the okay case her card, so I am posting two versions of it. It will actually be the card I am giving my Mom for Mother’s Day! No, I don’t have to worry, Mom doesn’t read my blog!
And the second version:
There definitely is a difference in watercoloring!! No two cards will be created exactly alike! I added the new silver Hodgepodge Hardware (from the Occassions Mini Catalog) to mine. I admit, I’m not that great at making small bows! It’s hard to see from the pictures but some of the blooms have sparkle to them!
Hope you enjoy them! Let me know, feel free to leave me comments. They are always appreciated!
More to come…
