Thank you for hopping today with us, “Hopping Just for the Fun of it”! Today is our fist hop! Our theme is ALL HOLIDAYS. We all need to have cards ready ahead of time for that special holiday. Plan on visiting us each month to get great ideas for you next card or project! Our next hop will be the first Saturday of the Month. You may of came today from Stop #6, Diane Clark-Sutton's blog, Stampin Ldyglfr62. I happen to be Stop #7 out of the 18 stops this month.
For this hop I have chosen to do Christmas as my holiday. These items are using many new products from the Holiday Mini Catalog – Holiday Stockings!
First I made the holiday stockings card.
I used the Stocking Builder Punch with Mica Flakes, and the Forest Lodge DSP all from the Holiday Mini. The Cherry Cobbler, Whisper White and Very Vanilla Card stock, along with Dazzling Diamonds, Mini Clothespins, Linen Thread, Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set (sentiment), Word Window and Corner Rounder Punches are all from the 2011-2012 Idea Book.
Update: how could I forget?! I also used Simply Scored on the cards!
Then I thought I would make a similarly themed tag…
I used many of the same materials that I used on the card, with the addtion of the Mini Jingle Bells and the sentiment from Winter Post stamp set stamped with Early Espresso.
Then I went a little bit crazy…
Using the Holiday Stocking Bigz L Die I made a stocking card. I know, this one is a bit plain (hey it was getting late!)
I stamped the sentiment from Curly Cute in Cherry Cobbler. Instructions to come on my next newsletter issue.
I hope you enjoyed my holiday stockings!
Don’t forget we love comments! To continue the hop, the next Stop #8, is Eileen LeFevre's blog, Stampin' Fevre. I'm sure you will enjoy her project this month. If you should happen to get lost anywhere during the hop, you can head over to the main blog, Hopping Just for the Fun of it, or use the following list below. Thanks for hopping with us!
