Good Thursday evening! Happy New Year!
I hope everyone has enjoyed their holidays! As well as the start of the new year! Have you settled back into some form of normalcy? I got so many compliments on the Christmas card that I made and sent out to friends and family that I decided I would share it with you…just a little late.
I used several stamp sets to create this card. At first I didn't think it would be as time consuming as it actually was…especially after making over 70 of these! Here is the front…
The picture really doesn't do it justice. I even tried playing with the color, unfortunately you just don't see the richness of the colors for some reason.
here is the inside…
I used the following Stampin' Up! Supplies:
Stamp sets
All Holidays, Christmas Collage (Holiday Mini), Perfect Punches, Bells & Boughs (Holiday Mini) and Occasional Quotes (Hostess set)
Card Stock
Cherry Cobbler, Very Vanilla
Ink
Cherry Cobbler
Accessories
1-3/4" & 2-3/8" Scallop Circle Punches
Stamp-a-ma-jig
Cherry Cobbler Stampin' Write Marker
The focal point of the card is the Christmas Collage stamp from the Holiday Mini. I used the Perfect Punches, Joy scalloped stamp since it coordinated with the scallop circle punch. I used the stamp-a-ma-jig to align the "Merry Christmas" from the All Holiday stamp set inside the open block on the Christmas Collage stamped image (upper right corner).
Then I used the Bells & Boughs stamp set from the Holiday Mini – for the inside decorative corners and "Merry Christmas" sentiment. I masked the "Merry Christmas" sentiment from the Occasional Quotes (Hostess set) so it just read "and a Happy New Year". I hope this makes sense!
Don't forget to stop by this weekend…I'm taking part in the SUStars Blog Hop! I'll be showcasing Valentine's day projects!
