Halloween Tree

Another easy Halloween project. The hardest part of this project was finding a good branch!! Sending the kids out to find one might be a good idea!!

A can for the base
A branch
Clear glass ornaments
Basic black grosgrain ribbon
Black acrylic paint (or orange, your preference)
Chills N Thrills rub-ons
some Green florist foam
Orange tissue paper
Black florist spray paint (or regular spray paint)
Pumpkin Pie 1/2" Striped Grosgain Ribbon
Ghostly Greetings Designer Series Paper

Optional for other ornaments and medallion on base:
Scallop Circle Punch
1-3/8", 1-1/4" and 1" circle punches
Black Gingham Ribbon
Pumpkin Pie Card Stock
Basic Black Card Stock

Mix a little water with some black acrylic paint in a plastic container. Gently, very gently take off the top of the ornament. Pour this mixture into the ornament, swirling it around so it completely coats the inside. Pour out the excess. Set aside to dry. Check in on the ornaments and swirl more so that it doesn't settle in one place before it dries.

Choose your rub-on and apply. Gently put the top back on, add some ribbon and you're done!

Optional:
Add some dazzling diamonds or black glitter to the paint mixture for an added eerie effect!
