Okay, so I've done it! I've jumped on the Frankie band wagon! I had to stay up late too to get this done! I just had to!! A blog reader of mine, Lisa did a wonderful Frankie explosion box and from her post today I found Cambria Turnbow's Mr. & Mrs. Frankie. I fell in love with these Big Shot boxes and had to make them for myself. They are very easy to make!! I didn't completely case them, just took the general idea. I will be making my own version of Lisa's Frankie explosion box, so stay tuned for that too!
I call mine Frankie and his girl (friend)… she almost reminds me of Pebbles!
Again, these are super easy to make using the Big Shot and Stampin' Up! Exclusive Top Note die as the base of the faces as well as other Stampin' Up! punches. The base box is also very easy to make.
I used 1" and 3/4" Circle, Slot and the Round Tab punches. I made rounded half moons for her eyelids. His I just cut in half.
I drew the hair with pencil on the cardstock and then cut it out.
I also used Basic Black, Pumpkin Pie (of course), Whisper White and Green Galore Card Stock.
I used Green Galore stampin pad and a sponge to give depth to the face, eyelids and nose. I used a Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker for the lines and the White Uniball gel pen for the highlights in the eyes.
Here are the backs of Frankie and his girl (friend..good)
I used the card stock that I cut for the front hair on the back, but he needed a hair cut, so I took more off the back on him!!
Oh, and here are Frankie's insides! Yuck, um, in this case I mean Yum! You can never eat too many M&M's!
These are the festive Cool Ghoul's(TM) Mix! They go perfectly with Stampin' Up colors in this case!!
I hope you like this cute idea!
These would make perfect Halloween school party gifts!
Enjoy!
Happy stamping! ~Raissa
P.S. We'll be making these at my Stamping Spooktacular!!
Adorable! I love them!!!
