If you were visiting with me last year, you know I am a HUGE fan of Halloween. So stay tuned for many more Halloween projects!
I was asked to be the dynamic demonstrator for a Stampin' Up! demonstrator newsletter Debbie McNeil (CraftyPerson Production) puts out and I wanted to come up with a Halloween project. The Spooky Tree display was what I submitted, but many of these other pieces I'll be posting were the alternates that I brainstormed. Check out the newsletter here.
Here is a really cool Halloween card that I came up with using the new Jumbo Wheel – Frightful Fence and the Halloween Frights stamp set. Both will be available for purchase October 1st from our Holiday mini catalog.
The card stock I used is Barely Banana, Basic Black, Elegant Eggplant, Gable Green and Whisper White.
The cat and the fence are embossed. I VersaMarked the cat and used black embossing powder. For the fence I used Whisper White craft ink on the wheel and embossed with white embossing powder. I added white gel pen to the cat's eyes and rubbed off it quickly to give them that glowing effect.
The bat and the "chills & thrills" sentiment are a rub-ons from the Chills & Thrills Rub-on set.
I think it's pretty cool!
Happy stamping!
