Yep, that's me! A busy bee! Hey, I'm a poet and I don't know it! LOL
Hope you've all been fairing well and that the hectic holiday preparing isn't getting the best of you! In between working late and doing my shopping online, I've been busy making gifts. This first one was for a ornament exchange I was invited to.
I got the inspiration (and tutorial) from Monica Weaver ** but I didn't have some of the supplies she used so I changed it up using items I did have on hand.
Stampin Supplies:
SU: Big Shot, Snowflake #2 Bigz Die & Snowflakes #2 Sizzlits die, Jewels Basic – Rhinestone, Retired Silver Cord (could use the tinsel trim in current mini, mine arrived too late to use), Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder, Big Shot Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets
Non SU: Peacock Blue metal sheet
For a family Christmas party I was invited to, I made these snowflakes in all different colors for the hostess, and the aunts:
That's Cajun Craze Card Stock, which matches the Spiced Rum metal sheet terrifically! They are adhered to the mirror plate with Crystal Effects! I also used the Champagne Glass Glitter. (I can't give all the secrets away!)
I used a window sheet as a sliding top for the box. You could actually stamp some snowflakes on that and add some ribbons. I just didn't have the time – what else is new!
Once the holiday rush is over I will be holding a class to make these!
Here is one outside the box:
I just think these tealight holders are so very striking! They are easy to make as well!
If you happen to buy any tutorials or sheet metal from Monica please be sure to let her know I referred you! Please include my name in "instructions to merchant" section of the payment window. (put "referred by Raissa Spatola") Thank you!
